i overheard some girls talking about their blog lives. and since i could totally relate (about having a blog life), i listened some more to their conversation. they talked about who has the nicest web design, who wrote better than who, who has the most contact, etc. they also talked about a girl who stalked their sites like she doesn't have a life.
their conversation opened my mind about two things –
one, that there really are some people who compete even here in cyberspace. they have to have a better design than, they have to have more contacts than, they have to be smarter writers than. ah, envy. that's probably fun, but i simply don't get it. i'm never one who envies or gets jealous. more often, i'm happy for other people who have better designs, who have more contacts, and i admire them if they write better. after all, i'm just blogging for the sheer pleasure of it. this is just a place where i put my thoughts, and in some cases, read and interact with friends who are faraway (better than spending overseas calls. haha).
it's too stressful, and i may add, juvenile to be competing here in blogosphere. what's the point, anyway? i don't get it.
two, there really are stalkers out there who simply do not know how to respect other people's space. they think they're cute and amusing. haha. coff coff.
speaking of coff coff, some people still don't get it.

pero there are those ba nga… basta, coff coff. (fil, i love this term gyud!) hehe. 
and speaking of competition, na gyud diay ing-ana sa? ako raba kay wa sad paki sa layout/design and bahala nag sawayon akong blog basta naka express ko. i openly admire those who write well, like you, but it doesn’t mean i’m envious. suya lang, hahaha. bitaw uy, i’d sometimes wish i can write as beautifully as my “idols” do
lagi uy, naa gyud, mi. it’s ok man to “beautify” one’s site. basta we do it for ourselves, not because we want to compete with others. anyway, to each his own ra gyud ning kinabuhi. haha.
good thing here in i.ph, there are so many designs to choose from.
hala uy, you write so well, mi. all my friends, actually, write well.
